Both of these plants are small although I’m sure if given a chance they can cover quite a bit of ground. Both also reliably bloom for me. Usually after I’ve been away strangely enough.
Coelogyne fimbriata
Blooming: Coelogyne fimbriata
Not a massive show of flowers, I think I might not be treating it as it needs.
It’s in the south facing window in the bathroom, so it’s getting high light and decent humidity. Advice anyone?
Back home surprise
After returning from holidays I found two guys started blooming. One of them, Ornithidium sophronitis, apparently difficult to bloom – I was already resigned to never see it bloom. The other, Coelogyne fimbriata, I had blooming before. Both only one flower each.
And I had another delivery…
I seriously need to stop, I’m constantly catching up on reading about all the new species I get and my brain stopped retaining any new information…
I got various species. Two were in bloom when they arrived (the slipper orchid and a Dendrobium) and a Coelogyne that opened its flower this morning.
